Loved the Movie. Went to see the Prison location in Ohio. Very interesting. Damn the friends bit killed me😂😂😂. This is one of my all time favorite movies. It's about a man who is sent to prison for killing his wife, only he claims he didn't do it. He then makes friends with the inmates.
It is a long movie, but watching it, you wouldn't know. It feels like it was a few minutes long. As a plus, it doesn't even feel like a movie. The characters are so well played, you think someone was filming them for some reality show or something (cthe camera angles are amazing, no reality show-like parts like on Law and Order. This is a great movie, though not for all. It is a prison movie and has the cliché moments like the guards being cruel and things like that (everyone claiming to be innocent saying "The lawyer F* ed me. It has actually convinced millions all over the place not to commit suicide or to stop cutting themselves and even leaving violent husbands/wives. This is a movie Everyone should TRY and watch.

I died when he started hitting the pipe😂. I want my mamma!I had your mamma. She wasn't that great. HAHAHAHA. MY PRECIOUS 🤑. The Friends theme part was the greatest joke in all of Family Guy. These ghost need a nerf. Those words he used in the final hearing, are the best lines. Of any movie's of that decade. 2:58 Goddayum l. The great words spoken by Andy to Red. Never give up. Shawshank is a movie based on a book by Stephen King. When I tell people this it is hard for them to believe. This is the best adaptation of a King story that he has not written the screenplay for. Even though some of the characters in the movie don't fit the descriptions from the story they work.
The movie shows the life of a prisoner convicted of a crime that he says he did not commit and the great friendship he develops with Red and the daily problems a prisoner faces. This is a great story and I never get tired of watching it. I have seen it 30 times and it gets better every time.
Get busy living or get busy dying.

Am I the only one who cries like a baby every time they watch this movie. One of my favorite scenes. I have learned one importand thing from this scene. It is never to early to start working on your speech for the parole board. I am starting today.
